Job Summary:

We seek a skilled expert in application monitoring and optimization to join our team. This role involves ensuring applications meet performance, scalability, and reliability standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operational application management, troubleshooting user issues, and performing root cause analysis. They should also have expertise in setting up alarming for Dynatrace and Splunk for different applications, defining and fine-tuning alerts, and integrating Dynatrace alerts in incident management tooling.

In addition to technical skills, the successful candidate will possess a problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement, experience in a similar liaison role between application and platform teams, and knowledge of ITIL practices and principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and optimize applications to ensure they meet performance, scalability, and reliability standards
  • Troubleshoot user issues and perform root cause analysis
  • Set up alarming for Dynatrace and Splunk for different applications
  • Define and fine-tune alerts
  • Integrate Dynatrace alerts in incident management tooling
  • Analyze and optimize application code with respect to error handling and alerting
  • Work closely with application and platform teams to identify and resolve issues

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in operational application management
  • Proven experience with Dynatrace setup and configuration
  • Experience with ServiceNow or similar IT service management tools
  • Strong understanding of synthetic monitoring and alarm management
  • Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks
  • Ability to analyze and optimize application code with respect to error handling and alerting
  • Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
  • Experience in a similar liaison role between application and platform teams
  • Knowledge of ITIL practices and principles
