Job Title: Senior Bookkeeper

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced bookkeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling end-to-end bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.


The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in Australian bookkeeping, payroll, and ATO compliance. They will also possess strong analytical and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively.


Key responsibilities include processing accurate and compliant payroll for Australian employees, preparing and lodging BAS, PAYG, Superannuation, and other statutory reports, and collaborating with internal teams to resolve discrepancies in payroll or financial records.


The successful candidate will also be required to stay current with Australian tax laws and Fair Work regulations, manage staff rostering and timesheet processing, and assist with financial analysis and reporting for management and auditors.


Requirements include 1–2 years of experience in Australian bookkeeping and payroll roles, hands-on expertise with Xero, MYOB, Quick Books, or similar accounting software, and a Certificate IV in Accounting & Bookkeeping or equivalent qualification.


A bonus is being considered for candidates with experience in NDIS bookkeeping, healthcare sector bookkeeping, or medical bookkeeping.
