Electrical Validation Engineer Wanted


As a key member of our engineering group, you will be responsible for measuring electrical performance of high-speed interfaces and performing statistical data analysis to validate performance against specifications. Your task is to ensure that the electrical components function according to design requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Measure and Analyze: Measure electrical performance of high-speed interfaces such as PCIe Gen5/6, LPDDR4/5, DDR4/5, Ethernet (10G, 25G), and perform statistical data analysis to validate performance against specifications.
  • Script Development: Write scripts to control test & measurement equipment, thermal controllers, and silicon configurations.
  • Debugging: Debug and triage validation issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Requirements:

  • Hands-on Experience: Hands-on experience with HSIO interface electrical measurements.
  • Teamwork and Collaboration: Strong teamwork and independent contribution capabilities.
  • Measurement Tools: Proficiency with BERTs, VNAs, Oscilloscopes.
  • Signal Integrity: Solid understanding of Signal Integrity fundamentals.
  • Platform Debugging: Excellent silicon and platform debug skills.
  • Software Development: Experience in hardware control software development.
  • Programming Skills: Basic knowledge of LabVIEW or Python scripting.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • System Design: High-speed system design and electrical compliance for protocols.
  • Understanding S-parameters: Understanding of S-parameters and their role in validation.
  • High-Speed Measurement: Experience with high-speed oscilloscopes and analyzers.
  • Learning Ability: Willingness to learn new electrical protocols.
  • Compliance Expertise: Compliance expertise in at least two protocols: DDR5, LPDDR5x, eDP, HDMI, USB3/4, PCIe.
