Electrical Engineer - Power Systems Project Specialist">

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team as a Power Systems Project Specialist. This role involves assisting in the design and execution of power systems projects, from developing system models and protective relay settings to coordinating with clients and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Design & Coordination: Coordinate project design assignments and work with design teams to create scope of work documents, conceptual designs, and execution plans.
  • System Analysis & Modeling: Assist in developing electrical system models, including grounding, load flow, short-circuit, and arc-flash analysis.
  • Electrical Deliverables: Develop key electrical documents like one-line diagrams, three-line diagrams, schematics, and equipment layouts for new or modified power systems.
  • Procurement & Vendor Management: Assist in creating equipment specifications and procurement packages, reviewing vendor drawings, and participating in factory acceptance testing.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Regularly meet with and correspond with clients and outside personnel.
Qualifications:
  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited program.
  • Experience: 1-4 years of related experience, preferably in power generating facilities, process facilities, or large industrial facilities.
  • Technical Skills:\- Experience with design types such as medium voltage, low voltage, lighting, grounding, and protective relaying.\- Proficiency in software like SKM Power Tools, ETAP, SmartPlant, or CDEGS is preferred.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and a proven capacity to work effectively in a team.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel to the United States as needed for project support.
