Job Title: Inventory Management Specialist

This role requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to manage the procurement, import, and inventory control of banking devices. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders and external vendors to ensure timely delivery of products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess user requirements and evaluate multiple available products/services in the market.
  • Compare goods/services with industry trends to determine appropriate pricing.
  • Finalize vendor and cost through RFP process, considering user requirement and techno-commercial evaluation.
  • Support User and Legal function for contract execution from SCM perspective.
  • Manage end-to-end activities related to warehousing & inventory control management for all banking products/devices.
  • Coordinate with relevant user functions to understand their requirements/demands and manage sufficient inventories accordingly.
  • Review existing contracts related to banking products, warehousing, and inventory control, maintaining a tracker & repository.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings through existing contract negotiation with partners/agencies.
  • Raise needs of agreements well in time and ensure renewal before expiry.
  • Handle imports shipments end-to-end, coordinating with foreign partners, freight forwarders, CHAs, and customs departments.
  • Engage with user functions to resolve pain points related to purchase, warehousing & inventory, and import.
  • Ensure timely delivery of ordered products/services and collect inventory reports daily.
  • Prepare and publish inventory reports for all products daily.
  • Support data analysis for preparing monthly procurement reports.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and new products.
  • Manage vendor partnerships to ensure competitive pricing and timely delivery.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10-12 years of experience in sourcing, import, and warehousing & inventory control management.
  • Knowledge of procurement practices and governance.
  • Experience in collecting and analyzing procurement data.
  • MBA or equivalent qualifications.
  • Ability to manage time effectively in a high-paced dynamic environment and prioritize workload to meet scheduling demands and timelines.
