Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced API Architectural Specialist with a strong background in designing, developing, and maintaining web services and APIs that support seamless integration between internal systems and third-party applications.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and troubleshooting RESTful web services and APIs with JSON as the primary data format. Ensuring smooth integration between various systems, both internal and third-party is crucial.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and implementing web services and APIs to meet business requirements.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver integration solutions.
  • Debugging and resolving integration issues and providing timely fixes.
  • Documenting web service architecture, workflows, and integration processes.
  • Implementing best practices for API security, error handling, and data validation.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in developing and maintaining web services and API integrations.
  • Strong proficiency in JSON and hands-on experience with RESTful API development and SOAP web services.
  • Knowledge of authentication and security protocols (OAuth, JWT, API keys).
  • Good programming skills in languages like Java, Node.js, Python, or similar.
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills, experience working with version control tools (Git), and a good understanding of cloud services (AWS, Azure).
