Developing Audio First Applications

As a key player in the new generation of storytelling through audiobooks, audio series, and podcasts, we are redefining how content is consumed in the audio-first world.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain highly responsive and interactive web applications that provide an engaging experience for our users.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver seamless user experiences that meet our high standards.
  • Own end-to-end delivery – from technical design to deployment and monitoring – ensuring that our applications are optimized for speed, scalability, SEO, and accessibility.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code using modern web frameworks and tools, focusing on problem-solving skills with a good grasp of data structures and algorithms.
  • Mentor junior engineers and participate in code reviews and technical discussions, fostering a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Requirements:
  • 4–6 years of experience in frontend development with strong expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, React.js, and modern web ecosystems.
  • Experience with state management tools like Redux, Zustand, or Recoil, as well as solid understanding of web performance, browser rendering, and SEO best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a good grasp of data structures and algorithms, along with familiarity with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and frontend build tools like Webpack, Vite, etc.
  • Experience in writing unit and integration tests (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library), with a good sense of UX/UI and a keen eye for detail.
  • Aptitude to work in fast-paced startup environments, with exposure to internationalization, A/B testing, and analytics integration.
Nice to Have:
  • Experience with server-side rendering (Next.js).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP).
