Integration Specialist Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Integration Specialist to join our team in this role, you will be responsible for developing and supporting B2B and Active Transfer integrations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to provide consulting and gather requirements, refining specifications as needed.
  • Design new integrations for implementation, ensuring efficient and effective solutions.
  • Develop and maintain integrations, leveraging expertise in software development.
  • Analyze and resolve technical issues, providing timely and effective solutions to ensure business continuity.
  • Manage all aspects of building a solution, including design, development, testing, QA, assisting with UAT and migration to production, and source code management.
  • Set up and manage connections with external entities and backend systems, ensuring secure and reliable data exchange.

Technical Skills and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of integration components, including server-side logic, APIs, and messaging protocols.
  • Familiarity with architecture and its integration capabilities.
  • Experience developing integrations using industry-standard tools and technologies.
  • Proficiency in developing integrations in loosely coupled design using pub/sub via message queues.
  • Experience building integrations end-to-end, including setup and configuration.
  • Expertise in adapters and integrations with enterprise systems through various interfaces.
  • Knowledge of industry standards (EDI X12, UNEDIFACT, cXML, AS2, AS4) and generic data formats (XML, JSON, flat files, etc.).
  • Understanding of network protocols (HTTP, SFTP, SMB, SOAP, REST, etc.) and encryptions/security (TLS, SSL, SSH, etc.).
  • Knowledge of modern authentication solutions such as OAuth, OIDC, JWT, and the ability to configure and manage these configurations.
  • Experience setting up virtual file systems and active transfer jobs.
  • Familiarity with operating systems (Windows Server and Linux).

  • Proven experience working directly with customers, ensuring exceptional service and support.
  • Ability to work effectively in a global agile team, collaborating with contacts from different regions and cultures.
  • Fluency in English language, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Adaptability to time pressure and priorities changes, with a strong focus on meeting deadlines.
  • Understanding and operation within agile framework, ensuring seamless project delivery.
