Job Summary:

Adeptia is seeking a skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing cloud-based infrastructure for our applications. This includes working with Azure cloud services, such as Azure Web Applications, App Services, Azure MySQL Database, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Functions, Virtual Machines, Virtual Network, Azure DNS, Load Balancer, VPN Gateway, Express Route, Fabric Controller, Azure AD, Azure Data Factory, Azure Service Bus, and Notification Hub.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design and deploy cloud-based infrastructure for our applications using Azure cloud services.

2. Work with our DevOps team to build multi-region highly available systems, ensure faster disaster recovery, and implement security measures such as EDR (Endpoint Detection & Response).

3. Collaborate with our development team to review requirements and design documents, and discuss testing scope for enhancements and fixes.

4. Work closely with our Agile teams on Java, AEM, Jenkins, Ant, Maven, SVN, Git, Sonar, and other technologies.

5. Collaborate with our software architects to design cloud applications for optimal scaling, including content caching, compute optimizations, continuous integration, and delivery pipeline, load balancer setup, and more.

Desired Skills:

1. Expertise in Azure cloud services, including Azure Web Applications, App Services, Azure MySQL Database, Azure Blob Storage, Azure Functions, Virtual Machines, Virtual Network, Azure DNS, Load Balancer, VPN Gateway, Express Route, Fabric Controller, Azure AD, Azure Data Factory, Azure Service Bus, and Notification Hub.

2. Experience in deploying and managing microservices applications using containerization concepts and container engines like Docker and ContainerD.

3. Knowledge of Kubernetes clusters using Container Platform such as AKS and good knowledge on Pods, Replica Set, Deployments (Rolling updates, scale up, scale down), Services, Networking, Helm, Helm Chart, Stateful sets, Persistent volume, K8s scheduler, Node Affinity, Metric Server, Configmaps, certificate management, and more.

4. Familiarity with cloud-based disaster recovery and HA system development.

5. Experience on Linux and Windows Server administration.

6. Knowledge in writing code PowerShell / Bash Shell.

7. Knowledge in CI/CD tools such as Git, GitHub, Jenkins, Maven, and automation and provisioning tools, including Kubernetes monitoring tools such as EFK (Elasticsearch, Fluentd, and Kibana), Data dog, Prometheus, and Grafana.

8. Experience with SIEM tools (Splunk, New Relic, SolarWinds).

9. Good understanding of Routing, Switching, Network protocols, VPN, LAN, WAN, Network Security, Firewalls, NGFW, NAT, IPS, Anti-malware, Botnet, Application Control, DDoS, Web Filtering, DPI, EDR, SASE.

10. Understanding of ITSM tools like Zendesk, JIRA, etc.

11. Knowledge of databases including MySQL, SQL Server, and Oracle, and in DB client software like DBVisualizer, SQL Server Management Studio, TOAD, etc.

12. Exposure to Java Software development frameworks like Spring boot, etc.

13. Understanding of SOC Compliance Requirements.

14. Understanding of Integration Application & Services.

15. Familiarity with zero trust and micro segmentation models.

16. Understanding of development utilizing Agile or iterative project techniques and methodologies.

17. Can effectively communicate technical information in a clear and concise manner.
