Key Responsibilities:
- Perform economic analyses, data collection, and spreadsheet creation to identify business cases related to energy use.
- Consult on project monitoring, evaluation, reporting, coordination, development, and support for implementation in sectors related to the PAT scheme.
- Conduct project appraisal, due diligence, monitoring, and reporting of energy performance under the PAT scheme.
- Prepare policy-related documents under the guidance of BEE.
- Coordinate with external agencies, SDAs, and regulatory authorities.
- Consult on financing energy efficiency programs.
- Facilitate media and outreach activities for various energy efficiency programs and policies, and facilitate knowledge sharing and learning amongst stakeholders through workshops, seminars, and focused training programs.
- Undertake financial assessment studies for energy and environmental performance for DISCOMs and different consumer categories.
- Develop dissemination materials such as case studies, documentaries, brochures, etc.
- Evaluate technical and financial proposals from consulting firms and prepare summary reports.
- Perform rigorous quantitative and qualitative research.
Other Relevant Areas:
- Lead project delivery on specific deliverables/engagements assigned by the supervisor, within a stipulated timeline, stretching when needed.
- Demonstrate expertise in writing reports, making presentations, number-crunching, and graphics/visualization.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Ability to resolve complex finance and accounting issues.
- Good communication skills (oral and written) in English and Hindi.
Requirements:
- Post-graduation in Commerce or MBA (Finance) or CFA or ICWA or CA or CS with two years of relevant experience.
- Minimum experience of 4 years, including due diligence of projects and related experience commensurate with the assignment, roles, and responsibilities expected to be handled by the candidate, specifically in the areas of Energy Efficiency and Climate Change.
- Experience in research paper writing, report writing, financial analysis of projects, assessment of financial cash flows of projects related to Energy Efficiency or Renewable Energy or Climate Financing.
- Data analysis and related analytical knowledge.
Location: The selected candidate will be stationed at the client/DISCOM office (Tentative location: Hyderabad).
