Position Overview:

Seeking an experienced Finance Manager specializing in accounting, compliance, and budgeting to oversee financial operations and ensure regulatory adherence.

This individual will manage accounting processes, ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulations, and lead budgeting and forecasting efforts.

The role requires a detail-oriented leader with strong analytical abilities, the capacity to manage multiple projects, and the ability to collaborate across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management & Analysis:

Oversee preparation and consolidation of financial statements and reports.

Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.

Ensure robust financial controls and compliance with statutory regulations and internal policies.

Conduct cost and profitability analysis to identify opportunities for savings and optimization.

Support strategic decision-making through financial modeling and scenario planning.

  • Accounting & Compliance:

Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, and payroll.

Ensure timely tax filings, audits, and compliance with relevant laws and standards.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for all financial transactions.

  • Budgeting and Forecasting:

Lead annual budgeting process in collaboration with department heads, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and financial targets.

Prepare detailed financial forecasts and provide variance analysis to support decision-making and identify potential financial risks and opportunities.

Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting and forecasting efforts, as well as strategic planning initiatives.

Track financial performance against budget and provide recommendations for cost control and process improvement.

Key Qualifications:

  • Chartered Accountant qualification is mandatory.
  • 4-5 years of overall experience in financial management and accounting. Experience working with educational institutions will be preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting standards (GAAP, IFRS), and financial reporting requirements.
  • Previous experience managing audits and tax reporting processes.
  • Excellent skills in Excel and ERP technology tools essential for fast and accurate MIS.
