Job Description

This is a key role within our team that focuses on the development, implementation, and support of solutions to meet evolving business needs. The position emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional teams, effective project management, and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation.

The successful candidate will have ownership of Guidewire ClaimCenter development, including taking responsibility for implementing and adapting to evolving business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive the development, implementation, and support of solutions to meet evolving business needs.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts, Development, and QA teams to scope, size, plan, develop, implement, and support projects within the Claims portfolio.
  • Ensure solutions include robust unit and functional testing with a high level of code coverage.
  • Oversee the support and maintenance of the ClaimCenter ecosystem, including integrations with Policy, Financial, CRM systems, external bureaus, third-party vendors, and service providers.
  • Develop, manage, and maintain comprehensive technical and solution documentation, such as architecture diagrams, sequence diagrams, deployment diagrams, and production runbooks.
  • Establish, maintain, and enforce engineering standards for security, secure coding practices, logging, alerting, build processes, deployment pipelines, and system integrations.
