Senior Data Engineer Position

This is a unique opportunity to work as a Senior Data Engineer and play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining high-performance data pipelines.

The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data models, ETL processes, and data warehousing solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain optimal data lake setups to meet business requirements.
  • Assemble large and complex datasets that meet business needs and drive informed decision-making.
  • Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Build infrastructure for data extraction, transformation, and loading from various sources using SQL.
  • Perform root cause analysis on data and processes to answer business questions and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop processes for data transformation, structures, metadata, dependency, and workload management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in data analytics/data engineering.
  • Experience with big data tools: Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Hive, and relational/NoSQL databases.
  • Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools: Azkaban, Luigi, Airflow.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Knowledge of machine learning concepts and algorithms.
