Specialist in Gastrointestinal Medicine

Our hospital is seeking a highly skilled Gastrointestinal Specialist to join our team in Kolkata. The successful candidate will be responsible for the diagnosis and management of gastrointestinal, hepatic, biliary, and pancreatic disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy procedures (Upper GI Endoscopy, Colonoscopy, ERCP, Capsule Endoscopy, etc.)
  • Manage hepatology cases, including viral hepatitis, cirrhosis, and liver failure
  • Provide comprehensive outpatient, inpatient, and emergency gastroenterology services
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (Surgery, Oncology, Critical Care, Radiology, etc.) for holistic patient management
  • Participate in academic training programs, CMEs, and clinical quality improvement initiatives

The ideal candidate will have a strong expertise in Gastroenterology and Hepatology, with proficiency in performing and interpreting endoscopic procedures. Excellent diagnostic, clinical, and patient management skills are essential, along with strong communication and interpersonal skills. Prior experience in a tertiary care hospital is preferred, but fresh DM graduates are also encouraged to apply.
