We are seeking a skilled Aerodynamics Expert to join our team of innovators. As an expert in advanced CFD simulations and aerodynamics, you will play a critical role in developing cutting-edge solutions for the aerospace industry.
Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and implement high-fidelity CFD models for complex aerospace applications. You will work closely with our team of engineers to analyze and optimize the performance of various aerospace systems, including aircraft and spacecraft.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in aerodynamics and fluid mechanics, as well as experience with CFD software such as OpenFOAM. You should also be proficient in Python scripting for automation and data analysis.
In addition to your technical expertise, you will need to be able to communicate complex ideas effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Your excellent communication skills will enable you to present results and findings to senior management and external partners.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, develop, and implement high-fidelity CFD models for complex aerospace applications.
- Analyze and optimize the performance of various aerospace systems, including aircraft and spacecraft.
- Collaborate with engineers to develop and maintain Python scripts for automation and data analysis.
- Present results and findings to senior management and external partners.
Requirements:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience with OpenFOAM for aerodynamic simulations.
- Strong knowledge of aerodynamics and fluid mechanics, including compressible and incompressible flows.
- Ability to simulate complex geometries, including full aircraft configurations.
- Proficiency in Python scripting for CFD automation.
