We are seeking a highly skilled Culinary Assistant to join our team. This role involves preparing and cooking dishes of assigned cuisine with authenticity and consistency.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Prepare and cook dishes of assigned cuisine (South Indian/Chinese/Mughlai/Awadhi) with attention to detail and precision.
  2. Manage the preparation of ingredients, mise-en-place, and daily food preparation.
  3. Ensure portion control, plating standards, and kitchen hygiene compliance.
  4. Train and supervise junior staff in techniques, recipes, and kitchen safety protocols.
  5. Monitor inventory levels and assist in requisitions.
  6. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the section.
Role Progression
  1. Culinary Assistant II:
  • Assist in preparing ingredients, basic sauces, and garnishes.
  • Cook standard menu items under supervision.
  • Ensure mise-en-place is ready for service.
  • Maintain kitchen hygiene and follow established procedures.
  • Report shortages or quality issues to senior staff.
Culinary Assistant III:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Wash, peel, chop, and store ingredients.
  • Assist with mise-en-place and stock rotation.
  • Follow instructions to learn basic cooking methods.
  • Maintain kitchen hygiene, dishwashing support if needed.
  • Develop knowledge of assigned cuisine.
