Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Automation Governance Specialist to lead the development of a comprehensive framework for enforcing best practices in automation. The successful candidate will leverage their expertise in Python, testing frameworks, GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines to create a system that validates code and adheres to industry standards.

The ideal candidate will have strong Python skills with emphasis on testing frameworks & automation, experience integrating with GitHub and CI/CD pipelines, as well as backend experience with databases (SQL), automation, and data pipelines. They will be able to implement governance/standards across large organizations and drive process improvements through data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Create a robust system to codify rules into automated code checks, ensuring compliance with established standards.
  2. Develop and maintain rule sets, enabling engineers to write custom compliance checks and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  3. Design and implement systems for rule validation, documentation, and reporting, providing transparent insights into organizational performance.
Requirements:
  • Strong Python programming skills with emphasis on testing frameworks and automation.
  • Experience working with GitHub and CI/CD pipelines, with a focus on version control and deployment strategies.
  • Backend experience with databases (SQL), automation, and data pipelines, with a solid understanding of data modeling and query optimization.
  • Ability to analyze complex problems, identify areas for improvement, and develop effective solutions that drive business value.
