Lead QA Test Automation Engineer SDET

About this role:

We're seeking an experienced and skilled professional to lead our QA test automation efforts. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests, creating comprehensive test cases, and performing manual testing as needed.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute automated tests using industry-standard frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, webdriverIO, or Appium.
  • Create detailed test cases and perform manual testing to ensure the quality of our software applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address any testing issues that may arise during development.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance processes to ensure our software meets the highest standards of quality and reliability.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in automation Quality Assurance, Manual Testing, and creating Test Cases.
  • A strong background in software testing principles, including test design, execution, and defect management.
  • Proficiency in software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with test automation tools and frameworks is highly desirable.
  • Ability to communicate technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce and CRM systems in an enterprise setting.
