Job TitleBrief Overview:

This role involves owning project software engineering design, configuration and testing of metering. Skid software packages are created based on customer specifications and proposals. The goal is to achieve alignment with internal standards while coordinating with E&I functional teams for equalization of interrelated work.

Responsibilities:
  • Hands-on experience with liquid or gas, fiscal or custody transfer metering.
  • Familiarity with design work processes and completed design packages.
  • Effective communication of findings through reports and presentations.
  • Good hands-on experience with flow computers and flow metering skid SW packages.
  • Intermediate hands-on experience with ABB, AB, Siemens, Schneider PLC/SCADA, HMI, Batch Controllers/truck or ship loading/unloading controllers, OPC communication.
  • Hands-on experience with S600+, OMNI (flow computer) and Emerson DeltaV-based metering flow computer systems.
  • Able to generate reports in customer-required formats and units of measurement.
  • Understanding of level 3 network, cyber security, backup and restore, patch management.
  • Test flow skid packages, serial communications - Modbus TCP/IP or Modbus RTU/ASCII.
  • Verify calculations as per metering (AGA-8, AGA-7, or API) measurement standards preferred.
Required Skills:
  • Excellent hands-on experience with PLC/SCADA, HMI, batch controllers/truck or ship loading/unloading controllers.
  • Experience with liquid or gas, fiscal or custody transfer metering knowledge, provers and master meters.
  • Able to generate informative data and complete periodic reviews with project managers/engineering managers.
  • Provide ideas/suggestions to improve test setups for improving quality and saving efforts during FAT.
  • Ensure knowledge sharing within the team.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Engineering graduate in instrumentation/electronics with experience between 4 to 8 years in oil and gas.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English language.
  • Proficient with MS Office tools (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access, MS Project).
  • Looking for experience candidates with S600+, OMNI and Emerson DeltaV-based metering flow computer systems, truck loading batch controllers or PLC, experience in any HMI (Wonderware/iFix/Cimplicity/Movicon).
