Electro-Mechanical Systems Developer

This role is instrumental in creating and implementing electro-mechanical systems for various aerospace projects.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of electronic components with mechanical systems into unmanned aerial systems (UAS).

This position offers a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge aerospace technology projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee complex electronics system design, analysis, and integration processes.
  • Design and develop high-precision electro-mechanical systems for UAS applications.
  • Define selection criteria for key electronics & mechanical components, testing and validating them for use in different sub-systems.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure alignment in design parameters and tolerance considerations.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive testing and verification strategies to ensure the robustness and integrity of embedded software & mechanical systems throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with embedded software development & mechanical systems proactively addressing issues to ensure project success.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Robotics, or Aeronautical (Avionics) engineering.
  • Strong electro-mechanical design instincts and a thorough understanding of dynamics & control principles.
  • Hands-on expertise in housing electronic & circuit assembly.
  • Working knowledge of parametric modeling CAD software.
  • Basic understanding of GD&T and tolerance stack-up.
  • Appreciation for technology evolution and modern engineering practices deployed in world-class product development processes.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
