Senior Accounting Professional

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accounting Professional to oversee the general accounting operations by controlling and verifying financial transactions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, financial reporting, compliance, and team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day accounting functions including journal entries, ledger, and reconciliation.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Handle finalization of accounts and coordinate with external auditors.
  • Supervise and mentor junior accountants and support staff.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for management decision-making.
  • Oversee accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and inventory accounting.
  • Ensure timely and accurate filing of returns.
  • Liaise with banks, statutory bodies, and internal departments for various financial operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • CA Inter / MBA Finance / M.Com preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum 3–7 years of relevant experience in accounting.

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Indian accounting standards, taxation, and statutory compliances.
  • Proficiency in accounting software.
  • Advanced Excel skills and comfort with reporting tools.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
