Job Title: Interior Design Associate

The role of the Interior Design Associate is multifaceted and crucial to our design process. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting our Senior Designer in a variety of tasks, including attending design discussions with clients, preparing minutes of meetings, and managing project milestones.

This associate will also be responsible for providing support in creating 3D designs using SpaceCraft and Sketchup, recommending enhancements, and serving as a sounding board for the Senior Designer.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Shadow design discussions and prepare minutes of meetings to ensure timely delivery and accuracy.
  • Assist in creating commercial proposals using SpaceCraft and other quoting tools.
  • Participate in site visits and file management across HomeLane tech systems.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure great design outcomes and build relationships with teams like sales and project management.
  • Provide technical support in managing project milestones and ensuring smooth project execution.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Design (B.Arch, B.Des, M.Des, Diploma in Design).
  • Experience: 0-1 year of experience in Interior Design or Architecture.
  • Skills and Attributes: Good communication and presentation skills, basic knowledge of modular furniture, practical knowledge of SketchUp, and a great attitude.
