Key Responsibilities:

A deep understanding of the data used in healthcare is necessary for creating innovative products. The ideal candidate will possess a working knowledge of SQL, Python, and advanced Excel.

  • Proficient in developing ML algorithms and models at scale in an industry environment.
  • Familiarity with a range of data science algorithms, including Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Reinforcement Learning.
  • Working experience in MLOps processes and AI governance using cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of working experience in the model lifecycle across clinical, operations, financial, fraud, digital, sales and marketing, wellness, or relevant healthcare datasets.
  • Experience in health outcome indices and metrics, along with knowledge of patient health management and provider profiling.
  • Advantageous to have knowledge of clinical tools, including coders, groupers, and classifications.
  • Understanding of data science applications in the healthcare space.
  • Knowledge of actuarial calculations, including risk rating and reserving.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or Computer Science.
  • Masters degree plus 6 years of relevant data science experience required, or bachelors plus 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Preferably, over 1 year of mentoring and guiding data scientists.
