Physiotherapy Director for Elite Athletes

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Physiotherapist to lead our physiotherapy team at the Inspire Institute of Sport in Vijayanagara, Karnataka.

This is an exceptional opportunity to join a world-class sports institute as the Head of Physiotherapy. You will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive strategy for the physiotherapy department that aligns with the IIS mission of producing Indian Olympic champions.

You will provide strategic, clinical, and operational leadership to the physiotherapy team, direct and manage work assignments, and carry a specialist caseload. Your expertise will help us deliver high-quality physiotherapy provision to junior and senior athletes, ensuring timely rehabilitation and optimal return-to-sport outcomes.

In addition to your clinical skills, you will maintain comprehensive electronic medical records, facilitate communication among performance staff, and contribute to the development of innovative clinical pathways and research projects.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• A Master's Degree in Physiotherapy
• At least 7 years of experience working in sport, preferably with international-level athletes
• Evidence of deep knowledge of athlete screening, injury profiling, and injury management pathways within an elite athlete population
• Registration with a recognized physiotherapy body
• Experience using a Data Management/Athlete Management System

The remuneration package will be commensurate with your experience. You can expect a salary in the range of ₹1.2 crore to ₹1.5 crore per annum, depending on your qualifications and experience.
