We are seeking a seasoned professional to assume the role of an ETL Developer, bringing expertise in Talend Open Studio and proficiency in BigQuery, PostgreSQL, Python, and Google Cloud Platform.

Position Overview:

  • The ideal candidate will possess 8 to 10 years of experience in designing, optimizing, and deploying complex ETL pipelines using TMC.
  • A strong foundation in BigQuery, including partitioning, clustering, federated queries, and advanced SQL concepts such as CTEs, arrays, and window functions.
  • Proficiency in Python for ETL scripting, automation, and integration with cloud data pipelines.
  • Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, including PL/pgSQL functions, triggers, query optimization, and materialized views.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing, specifically Google Cloud Platform, including Pub/Sub, Dataflow, Dataprep, and Google Cloud Storage.
  • Version control expertise, particularly with Git/GitHub workflows, branching, PR reviews, and CI/CD using Jenkins.

Bonus Qualifications:

  • Experience with BigQuery ML for regression, classification, and forecasting tasks.
  • Knowledge of advanced performance optimization techniques for BigQuery slots and reservations.
  • Familiarity with offline-first data solutions and advanced integration strategies.
