We are seeking a highly skilled and creative individual to join our dynamic content team as a Video Editor.
The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of storytelling and a passion for creating compelling visual content tailored for digital platforms.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Editing short and long-form video content for various digital platforms, including social media, YouTube, reels, ads, and campaigns.
- Working closely with the creative, social media, and marketing teams to understand content strategy and execute video outputs that align with brand tone and objectives.
- Trimming footage segments and assembling sequences while adding transitions, music, voiceovers, effects, and graphics as needed.
- Creating motion graphics and simple animations in Adobe After Effects or similar tools to elevate video content.
- Maintaining and managing a library of raw footage, edited versions, and project files with proper naming conventions and organization.
- Staying up-to-date with video trends, platform updates, and audience preferences to keep content fresh and relevant.
- Handling basic audio editing, color correction, and visual enhancements to deliver polished final products.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Film, Media, Communication, Multimedia, or a related field is preferred.
- 1 to 3 years of professional experience in video editing, preferably for digital media or social platforms.
- Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects.
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with creative and marketing teams.
- A well-prepared portfolio or showreel demonstrating video editing skills and creative storytelling.
- Basic knowledge of motion graphics, animation, and sound editing.
- Familiarity with video formats and best practices for various social media platforms (Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, etc.).
