Database Architect

We are seeking an experienced Database Architect to design and implement relational database structures for optimal performance.

The successful candidate will write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to manage and retrieve data efficiently.

  • Data security, backups, and disaster recovery plans are crucial for a smooth operation of our systems. The ideal candidate will ensure that these processes are in place.
  • Query optimization and database tuning are essential to enhance performance. Our Database Architect will perform these tasks to guarantee high-quality results.
  • Integration of databases with applications and reporting tools is also vital for efficient data flow. The right person for this role will make sure that all systems work seamlessly together.
  • Monitoring database performance, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining overall system health are key responsibilities of the Database Architect.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams like data analysts and software developers is necessary to fulfill project requirements.

We require strong knowledge of database design, data modeling, and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes. Experience with NoSQL and SQL to NoSQL migration is also beneficial.

Key skills include:

  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational database management systems (RDBMS).
  • Strong understanding of database security, authentication, and encryption methods.
  • Experience with performance tuning, indexing, and query optimization techniques.

Bonus skills include:

  • Knowledge of IT Security Products.
  • Familiarity with Python, Pandas, Kafka, RabbitMQ, and Build pipelines.
