Job Description

We are seeking an experienced ETL Specialist to join our team. As an ETL Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our data pipelines.

  • Design and develop comprehensive test cases for ETL pipelines using Python and Pytest.
  • Validate data transformations, data mappings, and data integrity through SQL queries and data profiling.
  • Automate functional, regression, and performance tests of ETL workflows to ensure pipeline reliability.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and developers to understand ETL specifications and data flow requirements.
  • Document test plans, test cases, defects, and provide timely feedback on issues.
  • Maintain test automation frameworks, leveraging Pytest fixtures and libraries to validate Azure Data Factory activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong experience with cloud-based data pipelines, specifically Microsoft Azure Data Factory.
  • Proficiency in Python programming language and testing frameworks such as Pytest.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD platforms, including Azure DevOps and GitHub.
  • Understanding of database concepts, including SQL and data profiling.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
