Telecom Software Developer Role

This is an opportunity to contribute to the development of real-time dashboards and data visualizations that support performance monitoring and optimization of 5G Radio Access Networks (RAN). As a telecom software developer, you will play a critical role in collaborating with telecom domain experts, backend engineers, and DevOps professionals to build scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and maintenance of intuitive dashboards that visualize RAN KPIs and network performance.
  • Build complex UI components, data charts, and network maps using modern JavaScript libraries.
  • Optimize frontend applications for responsiveness, cross-browser compatibility, and real-time data rendering.
  • Ensure best practices in accessibility, internationalization, and component reusability.
  • Collaborate with backend developers to consume RESTful APIs, WebSocket, and gRPC services built in Golang.
  • Contribute to backend development in Golang as needed.
  • Help define API contracts and data models for seamless data flow between front-end and backend systems.
  • Take on Scrum Master responsibilities, driving sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives for your cross-functional team.
  • Maintain CI/CD pipelines for frontend builds and deployments using Docker/Kubernetes.
  • Write unit tests, integration tests, and participate in peer reviews to ensure code quality.
  • Understand and interpret telecom datasets, especially RAN KPIs such as throughput, signal strength, handovers, call drops, etc.
  • Work closely with RAN engineers to translate performance requirements into visual insights and tools.
  • Support integration with OSS/BSS systems, network simulators, or third-party analytics platforms.
  • Mentor junior developers in front-end best practices, state management, performance profiling, and code architecture.
  • Lead or contribute to internal knowledge-sharing sessions, design reviews, and POCs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 4-8 years of hands-on experience in software development, with a focus on frontend engineering.
  • Advanced expertise in React.js, including Hooks, Context, Redux, and component libraries like Material UI or Ant Design.
  • Solid experience in building scalable, maintainable, and secure frontend applications.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern frontend toolchains like Webpack, Babel, and Vite.
  • Good hands-on experience with Golang for microservices, API development, or backend utilities.
  • Experience with microservices, Docker/Kubernetes, CI/CD, and cloud environments like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Familiarity with unit/integration testing, performance tuning, and frontend security best practices.
