Airports are complex systems requiring precise infrastructure design to ensure safe and efficient operations. As an Airport Infrastructure Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in crafting airfield and landside infrastructure that meets international standards.

The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in civil engineering, transportation engineering, or a related field. With 4+ years of experience in airport or transportation infrastructure design, they will have developed expertise in geometric design, grading, earthworks, signing & marking, simulation, and BIM integration.

A successful engineer in this position will demonstrate proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, AviPLAN, BIM (Navisworks), and AutoTURN. They will also possess a solid understanding of aircraft operational envelopes, turning radii, and clearance requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop detailed geometric designs for runways, taxiways, aprons, stands, airside roads, access roads, and parking layouts.
  • Prepare grading plans, cut-and-fill calculations, and earthworks balance for airside and landside areas.
  • Produce accurate and standards-compliant design packages using BIM tools and software.
  • Design airfield and landside signing & marking layouts in accordance with ICAO/FAA/local standards.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver optimized and safe designs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or equivalent.
  • 4+ years of experience in airport or transportation infrastructure design.
  • Strong knowledge of international aviation and road design standards (ICAO, FAA, EASA, IATA, AASHTO).
  • Ability to apply codes and standards directly in design solutions.
  • Excellent analytical, documentation, and coordination skills.

  • Proficiency in software applications including AutoCAD Civil 3D, AviPLAN, and BIM (Navisworks).
