Corporate Communications Professional Sought

About the Role

This is a key role within the Corporate Communications function where the appointed person will assist the lead in various corporate communication initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Internal Communication: The successful candidate will support drafting, formatting and publishing internal communication materials. This includes employee engagement campaigns, leadership messages and intranet content.
  • Events & Media: They will provide logistical and creative support during internal events such as Foundation Day celebrations. Maintenance of archives for communication assets, photos and video content will also be part of their duties.
  • Digital and Social Media: Monitoring corporate social media handles and tracking engagement metrics will be crucial. Drafting posts and coordinating approvals with relevant departments will also fall under this category.
  • Reporting & Documentation: The professional will maintain a calendar of communication activities and provide regular updates. Basic analytics on communication initiatives will also be tracked and reported.
Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's degree from a reputable institution.
  • Prior experience in corporate communications, marketing or content roles is highly advantageous.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are necessary.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially PowerPoint; Canva and Adobe Creative Suite would be beneficial.
  • A basic understanding of social media platforms is required.
  • Good organizational, prioritization and time-management skills are essential.
  • The ability to multitask and meet deadlines is vital.
  • A proactive approach and enthusiasm for taking up new challenges and tasks are desirable.
  • An interest in corporate culture, storytelling and visual branding is an added advantage.
