Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning Engineer Position

We are seeking a skilled professional to design and develop cutting-edge artificial intelligence and machine learning features across various products. As an AI/ML Engineer, you will be responsible for designing rapid prototypes for large language model-powered features and evaluating their feasibility.

Responsibilities
  1. Design & Development
  • Develop innovative AI/ML solutions to drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI/ML features into products.
  • Own the evaluation framework to measure AI/ML model performance.
Productization
  • Ship ML/LLM services with clean interfaces, telemetry, tests, and CI/CD.
  • Implement guardrails and quality gates for data safety and integrity.
Data Management
  • Build datasets, retrieval indexes, vector stores, and monitoring dashboards.
  • Own experiment tracking and model/artifact versioning; optimize cost and performance.
Collaboration
  • Communicate complex ideas effectively with Product, Backend, Frontend, and Customer teams.
Requirements
  1. Proficiency in Python programming language and experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow.
  2. Working knowledge of large language models: tokenization, embeddings, RAG, fine-tuning, prompt design, evaluation.
  3. API engineering skills: build/consume REST, JSON, pagination, auth, rate limits.
  4. Experience with vector databases (pgvector, Pinecone, Weaviate) and SQL basics.
  5. Knowledge of packaging and delivery tools: Docker, Git, testing, simple CI.
  6. Excellent written and spoken communication skills; strong product sense; ownership mindset.
Nice to Have
  1. LangChain/LlamaIndex; agents (CrewAI/AutoGen); MCP (Model Context Protocol).
  2. Cloud experience: AWS/Azure/GCP (S3, Lambda, basic IAM).
  3. Document AI (OCR, layout/structure), OpenAPI tooling, Postman/Newman, Spectral, Dredd/Schemathesis.
  4. Frontend familiarity (Angular/TypeScript) or Java/Spring Boot integration experience.
  5. Experiment tracking (Weights & Biases/MLflow); Kubernetes; basic Kafka/stream processing.
Professional Growth
  1. 0–6 months: lead POCs end-to-end; own an evaluation framework; ship 1–2 features into production.
  2. 6–12 months: tech lead for a product work-stream.
  3. 12–18 months: mentor juniors; co-own roadmap; drive customer pilots—path to AI/ML Lead.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field with 1-4 years of relevant experience.
