Job Title: Investment Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Investment Analyst to join our team. As an Investment Analyst, you will play a key role in identifying and nurturing new business opportunities in the private debt space.

This role involves working closely with our investment team, collaborating on various initiatives, and contributing to the expansion of our market presence.

The ideal candidate will possess strong financial modeling skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Building relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and lender partners to drive business growth.
  • Client business overviews: Create comprehensive client business overviews and investment memoranda to support business development efforts.
  • Financial analysis: Review client financial information and analyze financial statements to inform investment decisions.
  • Financial models: Develop and maintain complex financial models to support investment analysis and decision-making.
  • Lender interactions: Coordinate lender interactions with clients to facilitate business growth.

Requirements:

  • Financial modeling expertise: Strong proficiency in financial modeling and cash flow analysis is essential for this role.
  • Marketing and investment papers: Prepare high-quality marketing and investment papers to support business development efforts.
  • Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required to effectively communicate with clients and stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving and organizational skills: Strong problem-solving and organizational skills are necessary to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business finance or related field: A bachelor's degree in business finance or a related field is required for this role.
  • Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) or Chartered Accountant desirable: Certification as a Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) or Chartered Accountant is desirable but not required.
