Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our Commercial Solutions Engineering team. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for developing and executing innovative sales strategies that drive business growth and revenue.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Crafting Business Relevance by understanding customer needs and developing tailored solutions
  • Solution and Architectural Selling by identifying and communicating the value proposition of Cisco's solutions
  • Building Competitive Intelligence by staying up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity
  • Optimizing Sales Performance by analyzing data and metrics to inform sales strategies
  • Working Across Boundaries by collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless customer experiences
  • Driving the Cisco Vision by aligning sales efforts with company goals and objectives

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Engineering degree or equivalent
  • 8-11 years field technical sales experience as a Systems Engineer or equivalent
  • Sophisticated technical knowledge in Networking (LAN/WAN/WLAN), Security, and Datacenter (Virtualization, compute, storage) technologies
  • Proven self-starter and innovator with a track record of achieving results
  • Validated relationship building skills with the ability to build strong partnerships with customers and colleagues
  • Phenomenal teammate with excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Shown ability to focus and achieve goals in a fast-paced environment

Desired Skills

  • Formulate and communicate a solution / vision to customers and stakeholders
  • Experience working with large enterprises and public-sector organizations
  • CCIE (Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert) preferable
