**Job Title:** Senior Communications SpecialistWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to support our organization in various projects.Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Execution Support: Collaborate with project teams to execute day-to-day activities, create work plans, track progress, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality outputs.
  • Grant Writing and Program Delivery: Assist in managing grant-related deliverables, tracking timelines, gathering data, supporting reporting, and ensuring documentation meets funder requirements.
  • Communication Campaigns: Develop and implement communication strategies for specific grants, including initiatives for narrative change through mainstream media engagement, social media, events, knowledge products, influencer engagement, and more.
  • Business Communication: Manage online presence for specific grants by creating content calendars, scheduling posts, and monitoring analytics to optimize strategy.
  • Partner Coordination: Liaise with external partners, such as non-profits, companies, government entities, and vendors. Support partner meetings, capture notes, track follow-ups, and maintain strong partner communication while building long-term relationships.
  • Research & Analysis: Conduct research, benchmarking, and stakeholder mapping as required. Synthesize findings into actionable insights to support decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Knowledge & Documentation: Assist in drafting reports, case studies, presentations, toolkits, and other knowledge outputs. Ensure project documentation is organized and up-to-date.
  • Ecosystem Engagement Support: Support ecosystem engagement efforts, including event coordination, outreach to stakeholders, and tracking engagement activities. Represent the team in external convenings when needed.
  • Team Coordination & Logistics: Coordinate internal team meetings, take meeting notes, manage calendars, and support logistical needs related to consultants, events, and other operational requirements.
**Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the development sector, specifically in a communications portfolio.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently, build systems, and navigate a dynamic work environment.
  • Exceptional storytelling, written and verbal communication skills, with a strong ability to craft compelling narratives and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Ability to manage complex project deliverables with agility and adaptability.
  • Proven experience in managing multi-stakeholder initiatives, engaging with senior stakeholders, and fostering partnerships.
  • Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • An impact-first and outcome-focused approach.
  • Familiarity with both public and private sectors and the donor/philanthropy space.
  • A background or interest in gender, women's studies, healthcare, or related fields is preferred.
