Enterprise Solution Architect Job Description

We seek an experienced Workday expert to design, implement and optimize high-performance solutions within the Workday platform. This role involves leading strategic enhancements across Workday Financials, Adaptive Planning and HCM, ensuring seamless integration with enterprise systems and aligning technology solutions to business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architecture & Design: Develop scalable, secure and efficient enterprise-level solutions within the Workday environment.
  • System Optimization: Enhance and optimize Workday Financials, Adaptive Planning and HCM modules.
  • Integration Management: Ensure smooth integration between Workday and other enterprise systems while maintaining data consistency and security.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with Business Product Owners, IT Product Managers, Technical Architects, Compliance teams and development/support teams.
  • Requirement Analysis: Gather and evaluate business requirements to design end-to-end Workday-based solution architectures.
  • Technology Leadership: Provide expert guidance on Workday configuration, customization and best practices.
  • Governance & Standards: Define technical requirements, create epics/user stories and enforce adherence to architectural and coding standards.
  • Innovation & Trends: Monitor Workday updates, industry trends and emerging technologies for potential application.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 9 years of IT experience with 4+ years in Workday architecture.
  • Proven expertise in Workday HCM and related modules.
  • Strong knowledge of Workday's security framework, business process configuration and integration best practices.
  • Solid understanding of enterprise architecture principles and design methodologies.
  • Workday certifications required.
  • Strong communication, leadership and problem-solving skills.
