Cloud Infrastructure Strategist

Our organization is seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to design and implement cutting-edge hybrid and multi-cloud architectures.

About the Role

This role involves leading cloud transformation projects, driving cloud governance and security frameworks, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and cost-optimized cloud infrastructure solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement hybrid cloud (AWS / Azure / GCP + OpenStack / KVM / Ceph) architecture
  • Lead cloud migration (lift & shift, re-platform, modernization, hybrid deployments)
  • Develop and manage multi-hypervisor environments (KVM, VMware, Hyper-V)
  • Define and implement cloud governance, FinOps, and security compliance frameworks
  • Integrate software-defined storage (Ceph, Object Storage) for scale & performance
  • Build multi-cloud and hybrid cloud architectures for enterprise workloads
  • Collaborate with DevOps & Security teams on cloud-native solutions (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Develop Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, ARM)
  • Ensure High Availability (HA), Disaster Recovery (DR), and Business Continuity Planning (BCP) strategies are in place
  • Oversee cloud security architecture (Identity and Access Management, encryption, segmentation, firewalls, ISO/SOC2/GDPR)
  • Monitor, optimize & troubleshoot hybrid environments (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)
  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring & knowledge sharing across teams

Requirements

  • 10–15 years of experience in cloud infrastructure & architecture
  • Strong expertise across public (AWS/Azure/GCP) and private (OpenStack/KVM) cloud stacks
  • Experience with Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, and multi-cloud security
  • Strong stakeholder management, leadership, and mentoring skills
  • Excellent troubleshooting and optimization capabilities
