Production Operations Director

Job Description:

As a Production Operations Director, you will oversee the day-to-day management of print production projects, ensuring timely delivery and exceptional quality. Your role will involve driving project timelines, coordinating with artwork studios and printers, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver consistent results.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of progressive print production experience, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities. You will be responsible for managing client expectations, adhering to company processes and policies, and providing technical support to minimize costs.

In this position, you will also be expected to lead conversations with stakeholders regarding color assessments, track project timelines, and foster good relationships across the organization and with external clients or vendors.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of progressive print production experience
  • Strong knowledge of various print methods (e.g., Offset, Flexo, Gravure)
  • Excellent analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management, and planning skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced environment
