Senior Backend Developer Position

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Backend Developer to join our team.

Job Description

The Senior Backend Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade applications using Java, Spring Framework, Microservices, and modern backend systems.

This is a key role in the development team and will involve working closely with other teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop microservices using Java and Spring Boot
  • Implement robust security using Spring Security, including UserDetailsService
  • Apply design patterns and caching strategies for high throughput and low latency
  • Collaborate with UI teams to build and maintain frontend components
  • Provide maintenance support and enhancements on existing applications
Requirements
  • 6-11 years of experience in Java development (Java 8+ preferred)
  • Deep expertise in Spring Framework: IoC, DI, bean lifecycle, MVC, Security, Boot, annotations
  • Hands-on experience with Microservices architecture, API Gateways, service discovery, design patterns, caching, rate limiting, idempotency, and asynchronous messaging
  • Proficient in JavaScript (Promises at minimum) and knowledge of React or Angular
  • Strong SQL skills: indexing, stored procedures, normalization
