Software Packaging Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Packaging Specialist to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for handling customer application packaging requirements as a single point of contact.

You will have experience in migrating applications from Windows 7/8 to Windows 10 and proficiently use Admin Studio/Install shield to package applications.

Rich experience in scripting languages like VB/WMI, Batch Scripting, and PowerShell scripting is required, along with expertise in the PowerShell App Deployment Toolkit.

You must be well-versed in application testing and remediation techniques for producing Windows 7/8 compatible applications using tools like ACT 5.6.

Expertise in VMware Workstation/Oracle Virtual Box to work on virtual builds is necessary, along with knowledge of creating/repackaging applications using various packaging tools like Wise or Admin Studio.

Solid understanding of Windows Installer Technologies, including MSI Packaging, Tables, Custom Actions, and Standard Actions, is required.

Experience in Application Virtualization Technologies, specifically App-V 4.6 and 5.0, is also necessary.

Troubleshooting skills are essential, with the ability to use various tools like FileMon/RegMon and PictureTaker.
