SQL or Python Developer Position

We are looking for an experienced software professional to join our engineering team and help us create dynamic software applications for clients. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for writing scalable code, developing back-end components, and integrating user-facing elements with front-end developers.

This role requires an in-depth knowledge of object-relational mapping, experience with server-side logic, and above-average knowledge of Python programming. The ideal candidate will be able to design highly responsive web applications that perfectly meet client needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine application requirements.
  • Write efficient and scalable code using the Python programming language.
  • Test and debug applications to ensure optimal performance.
  • Develop back-end components and integrate user-facing elements using server-side logic.
  • Prioritize and assess client feature requests to drive business value.
  • Integrate data storage solutions to support business growth.
  • Work closely with front-end developers to deliver seamless user experiences.
  • Optimize existing databases to improve functionality and efficiency.
  • Design and develop digital tools to monitor online traffic and drive business insights.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field.
  • Expert knowledge of Python and associated frameworks, including Django and Flask.
  • A deep understanding of multi-process architecture and threading limitations in Python.
  • Familiarity with server-side templating languages, such as Jinja 2 and Mako.
  • Ability to integrate multiple data sources into a single system.
  • Familiarity with testing tools to ensure high-quality code.
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work independently when needed.
