Job Title: Sanitation Operations Director

We seek an experienced operations manager to lead our sanitation and cleaning operations in Chennai.

This role involves overseeing projects involving jetting machines, desilting machines, and suction machines, while managing a fleet of robotic equipment for specialized cleaning tasks.

The ideal candidate combines hands-on experience with cleaning equipment and expertise in operations management to deliver efficient and high-quality services.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Operations Management:
    • Plan and manage cleaning projects, ensuring effective execution and timely completion of desilting, jetting, and suction activities.
    • Optimize operational workflows, including coordinating with the robotic fleet to handle complex cleaning tasks in hard-to-reach or hazardous areas.
    • Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to monitor and improve operational performance.
  • Fleet and Equipment Management:
    • Oversee the maintenance, allocation, and performance of robotic assets.
    • Ensure the safe handling and operation of jetting, desilting, suction machines, and robotic systems.
    • Conduct routine inspections and resolve issues related to equipment malfunction or inefficiency.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead and mentor field teams, ensuring proper training on operating cleaning machines and robotic systems.
    • Foster a problem-solving mindset and critical thinking abilities within the team.
  • Client Engagement and Project Execution:
    • Work closely with clients to understand cleaning requirements and translate them into actionable plans.
    • Prepare and present detailed reports on cleaning project outcomes and key observations.
  • Safety and Compliance:
    • Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols during the operation of heavy cleaning equipment and robotics.
    • Regularly review and update safety guidelines to align with industry standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience managing operations involving jetting, desilting, or suction machines.
  • Knowledge of robotic cleaning systems is highly desirable.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a focus on field operations.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Familiarity with maintenance and troubleshooting of cleaning equipment.
  • Exceptional communication skills for coordinating with clients and internal teams.
