We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineering Advisor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing next-generation RESTful APIs and event-driven services in a distributed environment.

Key Responsibilities:

">
  • Design and develop robust solutions to hard problems, considering scale, security, reliability, and cost.
  • Support other product delivery partners in the successful build, test, and release of solutions.
  • Work with distributed requirements and technical stakeholders to complete shared design and development.
  • Support the full software lifecycle of design, development, testing, and support for technical delivery.
  • Participate in daily team standup meetings and participate in code reviews.
  • Provide impact analysis for new requirements or changes and ensure code quality and deliverables.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

">

The ideal candidate will have 11+ years of experience in software engineering, including hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, OpenShift, Docker, Jenkins, and AWS.

  • Experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB, PostgreSQL (2-3 yrs), relational and documentational DBs.
  • Proficient in working with the SAM (Serverless Application Model) framework and Lambda functions using Java.
  • Experienced in internal integration within AWS using DynamoDB with Lambda functions.
  • CI/CD experience: must have GitHub experience.
  • Recognized internally as the go-to person for the most complex software engineering assignments.
