Your Role & Responsibilities:
- We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer who will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality in our applications.
- You will develop and execute exploratory and manual tests to guarantee product excellence.
- Designing and implementing tests, debugging, and defining corrective actions are crucial aspects of this role.
- You will review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics, such as defect densities and open defect counts.
- A thorough understanding of project documentation, including requirements, specifications, user documentation, and help files, is essential to assure the quality of products and tests.
- You should be able to identify and resolve problems efficiently and effectively.
- Defect tracking and closure are also critical components of this position.
- Writing test plans, cases, preparing logs, and reports will be among your responsibilities.
- You should have a strong ability to understand developer and project manager requirements and implement them accordingly.
Requirements:
- Must have at least 2 years of experience in a Quality Analyst profile.
- Manual testing experience is necessary.
- In-depth knowledge of STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle), its phases, and relevance is required.
- Agile process experience is preferred.
- Good knowledge of testing methodologies, techniques, and types is essential.
- ISTQB certification is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and logical skills are necessary.
- Strong documentation and communication skills are required.
- Knowledge of API and Mobile App testing is a must.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Compensation:
The salary range for this position is around ₹12-18 lakhs per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. This figure is based on Jungleworks' general compensation structure and may vary based on specific factors.
