Tower Design and Structural Engineering Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team in the capacity of Tower Design and Estimation Engineer/Manager.

  • Design, estimate, plan, and execute transmission line and telecom tower projects with a strong focus on quality, cost, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed calculations, structural analysis, and drawings for tower design in compliance with international standards.
  • Develop comprehensive BOQs, BOMs, and cost estimations for tendering and project execution.
  • Evaluate client specifications, tender documents, and provide technical and commercial proposals.
  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, fabrication, and site execution teams to ensure alignment of design with project requirements.
  • Perform load analysis, proto development support, and optimization of tower design for cost-effectiveness.
  • Lead the estimation process for domestic and international transmission and substation projects.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessment, and value engineering for new projects.
  • Support planning, scheduling, and resource management to meet project deadlines.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants, and third-party inspection agencies for design approvals and clarifications.
  • Implement ERP systems for estimation, planning, and inventory management.
  • Mentor junior engineers and ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards.

Desired Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
  • 5-12+ years of experience in Tower Design, Estimation, and Project Planning in Power Transmission or Telecom Tower industry.
  • Hands-on expertise in design software (STAAD, PLS-CADD, AutoCAD, MS Tower) and ERP tools (SAP).
  • Strong knowledge of international standards (IS, IEC, ASCE, ASTM, etc.).
  • Experience in global tendering and estimation for OHTL, Substations, and Telecom Tower projects.
  • Excellent leadership, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
