At present, we seek a seasoned AS400 professional who has extensive knowledge of development and can deliver high-quality solutions. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments.

Essential Requirements
  • A minimum of 2-6 years of experience in the software industry, with exposure to the complete lifecycle of development at least once on CLP/RPG/RPGLE for commercial applications.
  • Extensive knowledge of AS400 technology (RPGLE, CLLE, DB2), ILE, including modular programming in ILE-RPG, modules, service programs, effort estimation, unit testing, and comprehensive unit test cases/plans.
  • Experience in executing and coordinating System Integration Testing & User Acceptance Testing with another vendor and project implementation.
  • Knowledge of troubleshooting during various phases of development.
  • Reasonable working experience of coding new (and changing) complex CL programs.
  • Knowledge of DB2 concepts and associated methodologies.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Experience in the Insurance domain (preferably in Life insurance).
  • Ability to work as part of a larger team to ensure satisfactory deliveries.
  • Proven ability to work well under pressure and in a team environment.
  • Self-motivated, flexible, responsible, and a desire for quality.
