Job Title: Senior Java UI Developer

Job Summary:

Luytens Technology Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a skilled Senior Java UI Developer to join our team. As a Senior Java UI Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces for our web applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with backend developers to design and implement user interfaces for web applications using Java.
  • Create and maintain UI features with a focus on usability, performance, and reusability.
  • Develop responsive web pages using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks such as Angular or React.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Identify and troubleshoot UX problems and make practical, actionable, and effective suggestions for design improvements.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to improve UI development approaches.
  • Work in an Agile environment, participating in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Contribute to the full software development lifecycle from design and implementation to testing and deployment.
  • Perform code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to UI standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design and ship new features.
  • Document the development process, architecture, and standard components.
  • Support and maintain existing applications by providing technical assistance and troubleshooting.
  • Assist in UI/UX design and prototyping.
  • Participate in continuous learning and skill development to enhance technical capabilities.
  • Collaborate with customer support and business stakeholders to understand and address user needs.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Java UI Developer or similar role.
  • Proficiency in Java programming language and Object-Oriented Design.
  • Strong experience in frontend development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Expertise in UI design principles and best practices.
  • Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as Angular or React.
  • Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
  • Knowledge of RESTful web services and API integration.
  • Capability to optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and development practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
  • Experience with UI/UX design tools and concepts is a plus.
  • Certifications related to Java or frontend development are advantageous.
