Data Migration Expert

We seek a skilled professional to lead our data migration efforts. As a key member of the data management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of data migration activities across all project phases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement comprehensive data migration strategies, scopes, and roadmaps in alignment with program objectives and timelines.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners to define data requirements, mapping rules, and transformation logic.
  • Identify data sources and assess readiness, quality, and potential risks.
  • Lead end-to-end execution of data migration activities, including extraction, transformation, loading (ETL), validation, and reconciliation.
  • Migrate master data, transactional data, and historical records from legacy systems to target platforms.
  • Coordinate with functional and technical teams to validate and test data in the target system.
  • Implement automated and repeatable data migration processes.
  • Define and enforce data quality rules, cleansing standards, and validation procedures.
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance of migrated data with regulatory and audit standards.
  • Coordinate data reconciliation, defect tracking, and issue resolution processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 7+ yrs of experience in data migration, data integration, or data management roles.
  • Proven experience leading at least one full-cycle data migration for major ERP, HCM, or CRM implementations.
  • Experience working with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, BAAN, etc.
  • Experience with data migration tools.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, master data management (MDM), and data governance.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
