Senior Backend Developer in Golang

As a senior backend developer, you will design and develop high-performance backend services using Golang.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable microservices and RESTful APIs.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices.
  • Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
  • Work with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and caching technologies (Redis, Memcached).
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure smooth CI/CD pipelines and deployments.
  • Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and enforce coding standards.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex production issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for a highly experienced backend developer with strong understanding of concurrency, memory management, and performance tuning in Golang.

  • 7+ years of backend development experience, with at least 5+ years in Golang.
  • Hands-on experience with microservices architecture and API development.
  • Proficiency in databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Cassandra).
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
  • Knowledge of messaging queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, NATS) is a plus.
Benefits

Good knowledge of unit testing, integration testing, and CI/CD pipelines is required. Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and ability to lead technical discussions are also essential.

Others

Familiarity with GraphQL or gRPC is a plus. Knowledge of event-driven systems and monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack) is also beneficial.
