Big Data Development Expert

We are seeking an experienced Big Data Development Expert to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing scalable data pipelines using big data technologies.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will have experience working with Hadoop and related processing frameworks such as Spark, Hive, Sqoop, etc. They should also be proficient in programming languages like Python, Scala, Java, and SQL. Experience with REST and SOAP-based APIs, cloud native data pipelines, and AWS Virtual Private Cloud is mandatory. Additionally, knowledge of workflow orchestration tools like Apache Airflow and performance tuning is desirable.

Required Skills:
  • Experience with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, and Hive.
  • Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Scala, Java, and SQL.
  • Knowledge of cloud native data pipelines and AWS Virtual Private Cloud.
  • Ability to implement solutions using AWS products and services.
  • Experience with workflow orchestration tools like Apache Airflow.
Nice to Have:
  • Teradata and Snowflake experience.
  • Professional experience with source control, merging strategies, and coding standards.
  • Experience designing instrumentation into code and using software and logging analysis tools.
